Signature Tanzania is a collaboration between Herman, a Tanzanian safari specialist with more than 30 years on the ground, and Chatilla, who brings an international eye for service, detail and personal travel.
Chatilla and Herman came together around a shared belief: the most memorable journeys through Tanzania are not the ones that follow a standard itinerary. They are the ones designed around you. From that collaboration, Signature Tanzania was born.
Herman knows the parks the way only someone who works them daily can: where wildlife is likely to move, which camps genuinely deliver, when to leave before the crowds arrive, which routes reveal a different side of the Serengeti, and which guides can turn a beautiful safari into an unforgettable one.
From the Netherlands, Chatilla shapes every Signature journey around the traveller: understanding what you want from Tanzania, creating the right itinerary, selecting experiences and accommodations, and making sure the details feel effortless from the first conversation until you return home.

Herman
30+ years of Tanzania expertise.
Herman brings more than 30 years of experience in Tanzanian safari travel. From the Serengeti and Ngorongoro to Tarangire, Nyerere and Ruaha, his expertise has been built through decades on the ground. His experience also extends to Kilimanjaro, where route selection, preparation, pacing and the right team can define the entire experience.
Chatilla
International perspective. Personal attention.
Before Signature Tanzania, Chatilla spent more than 15 years competing internationally as a professional basketball player, travelling extensively and performing in environments where preparation, precision and high standards mattered. Today she brings that same mindset to travel, together with a deep passion for safari, hospitality and creating experiences people remember long after they return home.
