Day by day
Days 1–2
Arusha
Private arrival transfer and a quiet first night beneath Mount Meru. Your guide joins you for a planning conversation over breakfast.
Days 3–4
Tarangire
Ancient baobabs and some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa, followed by evenings on camp with the river below.
Days 5–6
Ngorongoro
An early descent into the crater before the day begins, then time on the rim with the caldera stretched out below you.
Days 7–10
Serengeti
The heart of the journey. Long, slow days on the plains, positioned according to where the wildlife is moving that month.
Days 11–12
Return
A light aircraft back over the plains and a private transfer to your onward flight — or straight on to Zanzibar.
Where you stay
Classic tented camps in the Serengeti, an intimate lodge on the Ngorongoro rim, and a river-facing camp in Tarangire. Every property is chosen for location, privacy and the quality of its guiding.
Best time to travel
June to October, and late December to March. Excellent year-round with the right positioning.

Is this journey private?
Entirely. Your vehicle, your guide and your pace — you never share a safari day with strangers.
Can we change the duration?
Yes. Nine to twelve days is the balance we recommend, but the route is adjusted around your dates and interests.
How far in advance should we plan?
For high season we suggest nine to twelve months. Shorter lead times are often possible with flexibility on camps.

Inclusions and exclusions are confirmed in your personal proposal, once the itinerary, camps and dates are agreed.
